Francophone Services of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA) are proud to announce that British Columbia residents now have access, free of charge, to nearly 500 books and resources on health and well-being, in French.

It's the largest collection of books on health in French west of Quebec!

You can consult the online catalogue and order the resources you want to borrow. The Family Support & Resource Centre, supported by the BC Women's Hospital and BC Children’s Hospital, will mail them to you, free of charge.

You can keep borrowed books for 30 days, then return them using the prepaid return envelope provided with your order. Simple, fast, and easy!

In the catalogue you'll find resources for all ages on topics such as children's development, healthy eating, managing emotions, children's health, family yoga, and much more! You can view the catalogue at libraries.phsa.ca/fsrc and click on "Ressources en français".

If you're in the Vancouver area, you can also visit the Centre in person. It’s located inside BC Children's Hospital at 4480 Oak Street (K2-126, 2nd floor, Ambulatory Care - 604-312-9885 / 1-800-331-1533 #4 / library@phsa.ca).

Francophone Services of the Provincial Health Services Authority provide direct access to resources and health services in French to BC's Francophone population. In addition to responding to your questions about the health care system, provincial medical coverage (MSP), and access to prescription drugs (Pharmacare), Francophone Services are pleased to provide access to health services through the online catalogue of resources in French. This is possible through numerous partnerships and collaboration within the community and health care system.
