It’s a pleasure to join the office team of the Fédération des parents as the new Administrative Assistant. After working for seven years in the performing arts in Toronto, the desire to discover new horizons has taken me to the West Coast of Canada, where I arrived in May of this year.

 

I am delighted to be serving the Francophone community, and especially Francophone families. As a parent of a young child myself, I find out daily about the joys and challenges of parenting -- where each day brings new surprises, and fortunately, mostly very happy ones!

 

 

 

 

I’m very pleased to have joined the Fédération des parents team as an educator in the Franc départ program at l'école Mer-et-montagne. My studies in the hospitality industry spurred me to move to the Rockies. After the birth of my daughter, I settled on Vancouver Island, where I’m enjoying the tranquility and nature that surround us, and where I’m pursuing studies in early childhood education.

 

I love being able to live here, to be a part of the Francophone community, and as well, being able to work in that community! By focusing on children’s natural curiosity and their ability to learn by discovering, as well as through play, music, and the arts, I hope to encourage a sense of pride for our language in every family that attends the Franc depart Centre.
