Do you know Tire-Lire? Our educational resource lending centre makes it possible for families across British Columbia to access a wide collection of books and educational resources in French which keeps growing!

While the Tire-Lire centre is located in the école des Pionniers-de-Maillardville, in Port Coquitlam, there is no need to visit the centre to choose and borrow resources – because the www.tire-lire.ca website enables you, at any time of the day, to easily browse Tire-Lire’s vast catalogue, which comprises close to 5,000 resources (divided by age category, including books for parents too).

A Tire-Lire subscription, at only $20 per year, allows you to select up to 10 resources per order (as many time per year as you wish), and then to receive your selection at home anywhere in British Columbia! Orders are shipped free of charge (and there are no extra fees, as each order includes return postage).

Families who live in the Port Coquitlam area can borrow resources in person during the centre’s opening hours – on Tuesdays, from noon to 3:00 p.m., and Wednesdays, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
