From April 21 to 24, 24 music students in Grades 7 and 8 at l’école des Pionniers-de-Maillardville participated in the Con Brio music festival in Whistler.

What a memorable experience it was for them to take part in this spectacular festival, in which more than 2600 musicians participated, from across British Columbia, Alberta, and the State of Washington.

The students spent a memorable weekend in an enchanting setting, filled with music, workshops, and activities of all kinds. It was a weekend they won't soon forget!

What's more, the students of l’école des Pionniers-de-Maillardville represented their school and school board very well during the festival, winning a gold medal for their musical performance. Congratulations to those young musicians!
