ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

A Renewed Team

At the 35th Annual General Meeting of the Fédération des parents, President Marie-Pierre Lavoie announced that at the beginning of 2015 the organization will start the process of renewing its strategic plan for the next five years.
 
She stressed that the Fédération’s member associations, as well as its partners, would have a role to play in this process, to ensure that the actions of the Fédération remain relevant and continue to meet the needs of British Columbia’s parents.
 
On the agenda at this meeting was the election of representatives to sit on the board of directors, including four board member positions as well as the President. 
 
Following these elections, the composition of the 2014-2015 Board of Directors is as follows:
  • Marie-Pierre Lavoie, President;
  • Roch Massicotte, Vice-President and representative for Northern Vancouver Island; 
  • Marie-Christine Claveau, Treasurer and representative for the Northern Region of the province;
  • Cheryl Hébert, Secretary and representative for the Okanagan-Columbia Region;
  • Suzana Straus, representative for the Greater Vancouver Region;
  • Anny Goodman, representative for the Fraser Valley; and
  • Marie-Hélène Lapointe, representative for Southern Vancouver Island.
