This year, the APÉ of l'École des Pionniers-de-Maillardville, la Société d'éducation Gareau (SEG), focused on their community. 

In February, a family celebration was organized. It was a great success, with more than 30 families participating. A “pub night” is planned for the end of May as well. The SEG is also proud to announce that they have received a scholarship from the Conservation Education Assistance Fund, which will allow students in Grades 1 and 2 to visit the Burns Bog peatlands in Delta.
