Destination Clic
A program supporting enrichment of French as a first language... and a great experience for Grade 8 and 9 students!
Are you the parent of a Grade 8 or 9 student? Talk to them about Destination Clic, a three-week summer bursary program for the enrichment of French as a first language, offered to students in Grade 8 or 9 who live outside Quebec.
For almost 40 years, this program has given young Francophones the opportunity to make exciting discoveries, enjoy new experiences, and meet people they’ll never forget, all while exploring a French-speaking region of Canada, in the company of other students the same age coming from across the country.
During the three weeks of the program, students live in residence on campus at one of the participating educational institutions. In addition to workshops in French, they take part in social, cultural, and sports activities, guided tours, and excursions.
What does the bursary cover?
Moreover, major expenses are paid for successful applicants! The bursary covers the cost of the course, instructional materials, meals and accommodation, as well as part of the travel expenses.
For more information, please see the bilingual brochure.
Interested students must submit their applications by March 31 each year. The online application form must be filled out, printed, signed, and mailed to the provincial coordinator with the documents required. The form can be found at: www.destinationclic.ca
* Note: Students whose first language is French but who don't attend a French-language school may also apply. Additional supporting documents or further assessment of these students may be necessary, to ensure that they have the level of fluency required for this program.
