September 3 was not only back-to-school day in BC, but it also marked the opening of two new daycare centres housed in Conseil scolaire francophone schools. 

In Campbell River, educator Sofia Guevara welcomed nine young children enrolled in the new “Les petits explorateurs” daycare centre at l’École Mer-et-montagne. 

In Prince George, it was at l’École Franco-Nord that the “Dragonards” daycare centre was set up. Here Honorine Appiah-Vamet and Natalie Szdakowski spent the first day with their six new friends. 

These two new daycare centres still have space available.
