École Rose-des-vents Class of 2013
The sixty-odd students making up the 2013 Grade 6 graduating class of l’école Rose-des-vents got together in late June to celebrate their graduation.
The busy school year ended with an evening conducted at the same quick pace that was experienced over the ten preceding months. To mention only some of the events that took place that evening: an official presentation of diplomas by teachers in the auditorium; a slide show on a big screen to summarize the past six years; a gourmet dinner by The Butler Did It Catering; desserts from Café Salade de fruits; and a snapshot booth.
Parents were then able to get a drink, enjoy a country buffet, and reminisce about happy childhood memories, while their offspring danced wildly in the auditorium, which was transformed for the occasion into a nightclub – well chaperoned, of course. Babysitting for younger children was available to ensure that everyone could fully enjoy the evening.
The evening was a great success that will forever remain in our memories. It allowed us to celebrate the transition from early childhood to adolescence, surrounded by our community who watched the children grow.
We wish to thank certain members of the community for making this celebration possible: the teachers of l’école Rose-des-vents over the past six years, the administrative staff, the APÉ for its logistical and financial support, and all the parents who participated and pitched in to help.
See you again in six years!
