If you don’t know about our French educational resource lending centre, make it a resolution to discover it this year!
Tire-Lire allows families and Francophone preschool centres across British Columbia to access a large collection of nearly 5,000 resources, including books, educational games, DVDs, and much more -- for children of all ages, and parents too!
Managed by the Fédération des parents francophones de Colombie-Britannique, Tire-Lire supports parents’ work with their children’s personal, cultural, and language development.
A Tire-Lire subscription costs only $20 per year, and allows you to borrow up to 10 resources at a time -- either online at www.tire-lire.ca, or in person, if you live near Port Coquitlam.
To borrow online
At www.tire-lire.ca, select the resources that you want to borrow. Then you’ll receive them in the mail without any extra cost; every order shipped includes return postage.
To borrow in person
Since 2018, our resource lending centre has been located in the new école des Pionniers-de-Maillardville. Subscribers who live near Port Coquitlam can visit in person to select books and resources from noon to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesdays.
