La prématernelle Pomme d’Api encourages

French teaching for children, by children!

Once school has started, the expectation of parents is great. The educators at la prématernelle Pomme d’Api are committed to supporting parents’ efforts by delivering diverse activities that make French more accessible and fun.

Last May, the Francophone programme class of prématernelle Pomme d’Api visited l’école Anne-Hébert with the goals of strengthening French and collaborating between schools. The kindergarten students from l’école Anne-Hébert read to the prématernelle Pomme d'Api preschoolers.

The activity made French more accessible for the prématernelle Pomme d'Api students, and created the confidence for l’école Anne-Hébert students to act like grown-ups. It was teaching for children, by children!
