TIRE-LIRE
Book of the Month: a New Partnership!
Each month in 2015, thanks to a new partnership with Renaud-Bray, the Tire-Lire French language educational resource lending service will feature a “book of the month.”
You can borrow the featured book, and many other books, CDs, DVDs, educational games, and books geared to parents and educators, by subscribing to Tire-Lire!
To find out about each book of the month without waiting for the next edition of Parenthèse, follow the Fédération des parents francophones de C.-B on Facebook. That’s also an excellent way to stay up to date on the activities and programs targeted to francophone parents.
The "book of the month" is generously donated by Renaud-Bray. This initiative was made possible thanks to the financial support received from the Secrétariat aux affaires intergouvernementales canadiennes of the Governement of Québec, through its Programme d'appui à la francophonie canadienne.
JANUARY'S BOOK OF THE MONTH
Le Chat, le chien, le superhéros, le Chaperon rouge, le loup et la grand-mère

A cat who’s crazy about fairy tales, a dog who asks a lot of questions, and a classic story, Little Red Riding Hood, hilar- iously revisited.
Here is a book that will help children redis- cover a well-known story from a new angle, more modern and funnier!
With its amusing characters and clever text, this book will appeal to both young and old.
FEBRUARY'S BOOK OF THE MONTH
Et si les formes…
What if in the beginning there was nothing, or only three colours and three shapes? With red, blue, and yellow, with circle, triangle, and square, children are invited to discover all they can create: trees, birds, rockets, etc.
An amazing book, full of imagination, shapes, and possibilities, about everything and nothing, shapes and the universe.
