The preschool set up a tent to raise awareness of its Francophone program in the community. Several parent volunteers represented the preschool during the festival. Although the weather wasn’t great, they enjoyed greeting visitors and talking to them about the preschool program at Les Petits Voyageurs.

 

In addition, many preschool families visited Fort Langley during the weekend. So many, in fact, that at one point some parents joked with Madame Annie, one of the educators, that she should hold an impromptu “circle time” meeting on the spot, with her class! The students were likewise very happy to see each other outside of school and to be able to enjoy the festival activities together.

 

In short, it was a great experience, which we must certainly repeat next year!
